About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Odoo Expert with 5+ years of technical development experience for a long-term contract with a European public sector client. The role offers hybrid working from Brussels.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in ERP implementation and technical development for large organizations.
- Expertise in Odoo technical development, customization, and architecture with at least 5 years of hands-on experience (mandatory).
- Experience with Odoo module development, Python programming, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Proven experience in Odoo integration with third-party systems and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of business process analysis and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Experience with XML, JavaScript, CSS, and web technologies within the Odoo context.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a multilingual international diplomatic environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluent in English, French (desirable).
Job Description:
- Lead the identification and deployment of Odoo ERP solutions to address administrative needs such as HR, finance, contracts, logistics, real estate, and fleet management.
- Lead the creation of the architectural vision and detailed planning for Odoo implementations.
- Develop and enhance Odoo architecture and custom modules.
- Analyze organizational structures and map them to Odoo business processes.
- Assess information systems portfolios and integration requirements.
- Optimize business processes and workflows.
- Analyze corporate data flows and develop migration strategies.
- Perform cost/benefit analysis for Odoo implementations.
- Lead the ERP implementation team, providing guidance and expertise to all team members.
- Offer technical advice on Odoo customizations, module development, and system integrations.
