About the Role
A detail-oriented and proactive Accounting & Odoo Operations Assistant is needed to support financial administration and enhance the Odoo ERP system to match evolving workflows. This is a flexible, part-time remote role (10–15 hours per week), ideal for someone with a solid understanding of Belgian accounting and practical experience with Odoo. The position involves regular video calls and occasional in-person meetings with the Mindspring team, including the CEO and Finance Director.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records and accounting entries within Odoo
- Process invoices, manage expense tracking, and prepare financial reports
- Adapt and fine-tune the Odoo platform to align with operational and accounting needs
- Ensure all activities comply with Belgian accounting standards
- Support additional administrative finance tasks as required
Requirements
- Experience working with Odoo
- Strong understanding of Belgian accounting regulations and practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
- Preferably located in Belgium for familiarity with local financial regulations and timezone alignment
