About the Role
A Functional Odoo Consultant is sought to join the ERP implementation and support team, working closely with clients to optimize business processes and ensure successful deployment and adoption of the Odoo system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements, perform FIT/GAP analyses, and develop prototypes to validate solutions with clients.
- Configure and customize standard Odoo modules to meet client needs, including basic customizations within Odoo.
- Collaborate with the development team to create modules, integrations, and reports using Python, XML, QWeb, and JavaScript.
- Manage initial data migrations (clients, products, invoices, inventory) and maintain data integrity in PostgreSQL.
- Provide post-implementation support to ensure optimal platform usage.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation, produce progress reports, and keep records updated in internal systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Functional knowledge of finance modules.
- Odoo certification (Functional or Technical).
- Experience with additional modules such as eCommerce, Manufacturing (MRP), and Maintenance.
- Previous experience in Odoo version migrations (e.g., v12 to v16).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and version control tools (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
- Experience in project management or leading technical teams.

- Ability to identify business needs, prepare reports, and present solutions effectively to clients.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Empathy, problem-solving skills, and proactive attitude.
- Previous experience in Odoo consulting.
