About the Role
The role calls for an experienced Data Engineer proficient in both Shopify and Odoo. This position involves managing data infrastructure, supporting the inventory team with Odoo-based inventory management, and developing solutions to address complex data challenges.
Responsibilities

Lead and improve data architecture and pipelines (ETL/ELT) using tools such as Airflow and dbt

Maintain data accuracy and consistency across different systems

Manage new data integrations and document configurations and workflows

Enforce data governance and security policies

Continuously enhance data processes and overall performance
-
Maintain API connections with platforms including Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, and Klaviyo

Build AI/ML tools for automation, anomaly detection, forecasting, and data enrichment
Odoo-Specific Responsibilities

Serve as the company’s primary Odoo expert

Manage Odoo upgrades ensuring minimal disruption

Design and maintain Odoo integrations with other systems

Develop ETL processes involving Odoo data

Propose data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency
Requirements
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer

At least 1 year of experience working with Snowflake and Odoo
-
Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database design
-
Experience with tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Stitch, and Airflow
-
Proficient in Python and relevant scripting languages
-
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving and tracking technical issues

Able to work both independently and collaboratively
