About the Role
The Odoo Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in the development and optimization of internal manufacturing tools, particularly within the ArsenalOS suite. This position involves owning the implementation and administration of the Odoo WMS, driving improvements, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating closely with engineering teams. This is a high-impact role suited for professionals experienced in both enterprise software and systems architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-house Odoo platform expert for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Administer and maintain development environments, including license and access management.
- Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting, system updates, and platform performance.
- Define product roadmaps by gathering cross-functional requirements and aligning features with business goals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement enhancements following Odoo best practices.
- Design and maintain integrations between Odoo and other enterprise systems, including ERP platforms.
- Lead training initiatives and create detailed system documentation for end users.
- Provide strategic advice on system scalability, infrastructure reliability, and performance tuning.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with the Odoo platform.
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise systems, software engineering, or IT architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to operate from first principles and distill complex concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing custom Odoo modules using Python.
- Prior implementation of Odoo WMS and related modules.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise-grade software tools.
- Expertise in system scalability and performance optimization.
- Understanding of modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated US salary range: $168,000 – $252,000, with actual offer dependent on experience, education, and skillset.
