About the Role
The Odoo Consultant serves as the primary client contact throughout the entire implementation lifecycle—from initial workshops to Go-Live. This role involves understanding client business processes, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring successful deployment while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Consulting
- Independently lead Odoo projects from requirements gathering to Go-Live.
- Conduct workshops with clients, analyze business processes, and design practical solutions.
- Define project objectives, budgets, and timelines, ensuring delivery goals are met.
Solution Design & Customization
- Configure Odoo modules and develop tailored solutions for various industries.
- Assess which requirements can be met with standard Odoo features and identify where custom development is needed.
- Collaborate closely with developers to create specifications and ensure implementation quality.
Customer Management & Quality Assurance
- Serve as the main client contact, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct testing, acceptance, and Go-Live support, including Hypercare follow-ups.
- Document processes, decisions, and change requests to maintain project transparency.
Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing
- Coach and support junior consultants with guidance, feedback, and task allocation.
- Share best practices and contribute to internal templates, checklists, and methodology improvements.
- Actively shape the company’s delivery methodology by applying practical experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Odoo implementations, including customization, configuration, data migration, and training.
- Proficiency in multiple Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, and Project Management.
- Experience in client-facing roles, including requirements analysis, testing, and project delivery.
- Ability to moderate workshops and document processes systematically.
- Strong independence, communication skills, and consulting expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience mentoring junior consultants or leading small project teams.
- Familiarity with diverse SME business processes across industries like manufacturing, trade, and services.
- Proactive mindset and ability to influence both client solutions and internal company processes.
