About the Role

The Odoo Senior Developer will be responsible for developing and configuring ERP features based on new requirements defined by internal teams. This role involves applying agile methodologies, maintaining system accuracy, and ensuring that all departments follow correct procedures within Odoo and integrated systems. The position includes cross-functional collaboration and continuous enhancement of ERP-related processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the ERP to accurately reflect supply chain processes and data.
• Apply best practices to ensure clean, secure, and maintainable code.
• Design and implement data models for software projects.
• Guarantee data accuracy and integrity within the ERP.
• Conduct data audits and validations to detect discrepancies or errors.
• Analyze existing software to implement necessary features or modifications.
• Create and manage testing environments to validate software changes.
• Document data model dependencies for each tool in use.
• Maintain proper version control across all projects.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with OWL, Django, Odoo ORM, and Odoo API frameworks.
• Knowledge of QWeb and Jinja2 template engines.
• Skills in frontend design using XML and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with jQuery and Backbone.js libraries.
• Understanding of ERP data models.
• Experience with Git-based version-control systems.
• Knowledge of data import/export APIs for software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating modules between Odoo versions.
• Understanding of Odoo from a systems-level perspective.
• Knowledge of container deployment technologies.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages or frameworks (C#, PHP, React, etc.).
• Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira.

Required Experience & Education

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Professional experience as an Odoo consultant or developer (v15 or higher).
• English level B1
