ESM is now implementing a new Odoo ERP system to enhance operations and support digital transformation across its network of companies.
About the Role
The ERP Odoo Specialist will actively participate in the integration and deployment of the new Odoo system for ESM and its partner companies within the ETICs network. The role involves close collaboration with IT, quality, and operational teams to understand business requirements, develop tailored functionalities, and maintain ERP-related processes. This position is based in Seraing, Belgium, with travel to other centers as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and rollout of Odoo ERP across multiple companies.
- Collaborate with IT, quality, and operational teams to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Develop and maintain custom features, reporting tools, and system interfaces.
- Manage and maintain data post-project deployment.
- Support enterprise application management, including tool standardization and rationalization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and ERP tools.
- Provide functional and technical support to internal users.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Odoo development and configuration; functional Odoo 19 certification required.
- Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs.
- Solid understanding of ERP architecture and business process flows.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively.
- Dynamic, versatile, and proactive in approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ERP project management.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Familiarity with training end-users.
- Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Interest in digital transformation and process optimization.
