About the Role
The ERP Consultant & Implementation Specialist will manage complete ERP deployment projects, helping clients streamline their business processes and reach digital transformation objectives. While experience with multiple ERP systems is valued, strong familiarity with Odoo is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage full ERP implementation cycles (Odoo preferred), covering requirements gathering, process analysis, deployment, and post-launch optimization.
- Analyze client operations to identify improvements and recommend system-based solutions.
- Configure ERP components including CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and Project modules to fit client needs.
- Act as the main client liaison during implementations, providing expert advice and practical support.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure business needs translate accurately into custom code, integrations, and APIs.
- Conduct end-user training to ensure smooth adoption and confidence in the system.
- Develop and update documentation such as functional specs, design notes, SOPs, and workflows.
- Lead UAT and go-live processes, verifying system readiness.
- Provide ongoing support and suggest upgrades or expansions post-implementation.
- Support pre-sales activities with ERP scoping, client workshops, and product demos.
Requirements
- At least 3 yearsā experience in ERP implementation or functional consulting.
- Good understanding of finance, operations, sales, and HR business areas.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent English, with confidence in presenting to both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Community or Enterprise).
- Odoo certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL is beneficial.
- Experience working on multi-company, multi-currency, or international ERP projects.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management methodologies.
Work Environment
- Hybrid work model.
- Occasional travel to client locations in Malta and potentially Cyprus.
