About the Role
The ERP Odoo Consultant will act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the lifecycle of ERP projects. This role combines client advisory, project management, and technical coordination, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption of Odoo ERP solutions. The position is based in Rennes, France, with partial remote work.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main client liaison from kickoff to production and ongoing support.
- Analyze business needs across sales, logistics, production, HR, and propose practical Odoo-based solutions.
- Configure Odoo ERP modules and oversee custom developments, including writing specifications and validating deliverables.
- Train users effectively, ensuring knowledge transfer and adoption.
- Provide responsive support and establish a long-term partnership with clients.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including developers, clients, and management.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in ERP project management, client advisory, or advanced ERP usage (Odoo, SAP, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with business processes such as sales, logistics, production, and HR.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
- Pragmatic problem-solving approach with a focus on practical, effective solutions.
- Capacity to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of Odoo, Python, XML, or other ERP customization tools is a plus.
- Background in customer service, IT departments, consulting firms, entrepreneurship, or ERP super-user roles.
- Experience in training, mentoring, or supporting users in a business software environment.
