About the Comapny

helmon is a new Italian cybersecurity company focused on protecting SMEs, founded by CDP Venture Capital and Cy4Gate. Based in Rome, helmon offers comprehensive and accessible security solutions through an end-to-end model combining cybersecurity services, training, and dedicated insurance policies. The goal is to simplify complex challenges by providing proactive, transparent, and customized protection for Italian businesses.

About the Role

You will manage the company’s internal IT infrastructure and develop tailored Odoo solutions to digitize business processes. Acting as the main contact for Microsoft system management, operational automation, and the evolution of CRM and ERP platforms, you will play a key role in driving IT efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage systems including servers, domain, email, and company devices within a Microsoft Cloud environment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo Enterprise modules to support various business functions.
  • Create automated workflows integrating Odoo with external tools.
  • Provide IT support for team needs such as access, configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure data security and backup reliability.
  • Continuously improve system features and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as a System Administrator in Microsoft enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools like Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Purview.
  • Skilled in configuring and managing LAN/Wi-Fi networks, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Odoo Enterprise management and module development.
  • Knowledge of Python, XML, and Odoo module structures.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases.
  • Experience using Git, development environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comfortable working with Linux systems such as Debian or Ubuntu.
  • Ability to write automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  • Experience in Agile environments and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong internal technical support skills, with an approach focused on listening, problem-solving, and simplifying.
  • Systematic mindset focused on efficiency and continuous optimization.
