About the Role
The position of IT Manager & Odoo Tech Lead is based in Barcelona and is key to leading Cannactiva’s technology strategy. The role focuses on managing and evolving the company’s digital ecosystem, with Odoo as the core ERP system. The successful candidate will ensure seamless operations, oversee integrations with e-commerce platforms, guide development efforts, and act as a technological reference point for the leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead Cannactiva’s IT strategy, ensuring stability and scalability of Odoo ERP.
- Manage and enhance integrations with WooCommerce via API to optimize e-commerce and logistics processes.
- Coordinate with external agencies and lead an internal development team of two people.
- Establish IT roadmap, architecture, and best practices (security, automation, CI/CD).
- Participate in backend development when necessary, bringing a business-oriented perspective.
- Advise management with innovative technological solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Odoo (Python, PostgreSQL) and backend systems management.
- Solid knowledge of API integrations, preferably with WooCommerce.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, GitHub, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
- Proven leadership and coordination skills with both internal and external teams.
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset with a strong business vision.
- Fluent in Spanish (English is a plus).
- Interest or knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing IT security measures, automation pipelines, and CI/CD practices.
- Hands-on technical expertise combined with strategic IT management.
- Previous experience in high-growth or e-commerce companies.
