About the Role
FIDEL is looking for a talented Odoo Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to play a vital role in ERP system implementation. The position involves overseeing the functional track from start to finish, including stakeholder engagement, process modeling, business requirement structuring, workflow design, specification definition, testing, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure top-quality results. This role requires an experienced professional capable of effectively bridging the gap between business requirements and system execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional implementation of the ERP system.
- Analyze internal stakeholders’ needs and translate them into clear functional specifications and requirements.
- Create process documentation, functional specifications, and user stories for development and testing.
- Act as the main liaison between business units and the technical team.
- Configure and manage Odoo modules, define master data, and set user access rights.
- Design intricate workflows and approval processes using BPMN or similar tools.
- Conduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure alignment with business goals, including hands-on testing.
- Collaborate with external implementation teams and ensure solution quality.
- Contribute to the integration design with third-party tools and services.
- Manage system improvements post-go-live, including handling internal requests for enhancements and process optimizations.
- Provide user training with clear instructions in both video and text formats.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Odoo as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of business processes, especially in HR, Payroll, and Accounting modules within Odoo.
- Experience gathering requirements and writing user stories and functional specifications.
- Proven ability to structure and document business processes and data flows.
- Proficiency in process modeling with BPMN or equivalent tools.
- Experience preparing detailed documentation, functional specifications, and test cases.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience working with implementation teams and overseeing functional delivery.
- Python knowledge is a bonus but not required.
