About the Role

The Odoo Consultant is responsible for analyzing client business processes, implementing ERP solutions, and advising on system optimization. This role combines consulting, project management, and solution design, providing strategic input on Odoo implementations across finance, CRM, e-commerce, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes with new and existing clients to identify improvement opportunities via Odoo applications
  • Provide end-user and key-user training and support for Odoo adoption
  • Serve as first point of contact for Odoo inquiries and sales opportunities
  • Present services and solutions to prospective and existing clients
  • Prepare proposals in coordination with management and participate in contract discussions
  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as Backoffice, Marketing, Development, and Project Management
  • Lead the enhancement of service offerings and contribute to the creation of new sales channels, processes, and methods
  • Plan and coordinate project implementations, manage resources, and keep clients informed of project status
  • Support strategic company decisions with analysis and recommendations

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Odoo, including module development, implementation, and customization
  • Expertise in financial accounting and bookkeeping with Odoo (EE and CE)
  • Experience with Odoo CRM, e-commerce, and manufacturing apps
  • Understanding of diverse business processes and industry challenges
  • Experience in project planning, resource management, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Solution design experience and ability to evaluate third-party Odoo modules
  • Fluent in German, both written and spoken
  • Sales experience and strong prioritization, time, and risk management skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally (up to 3 days/month, occasionally abroad)
