About the Role
The Odoo Developer will lead and contribute to the implementation of cloud-based Odoo solutions in Python and JavaScript. The role involves analyzing business requirements, evaluating cost-benefit ratios, and overseeing development and integration phases using modern technologies and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions using the open-source, cloud-native Odoo platform
- Build integrations between Odoo and third-party systems via REST and GraphQL APIs
- Analyze client needs and design effective, scalable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality code and smooth implementation
- Participate in architectural and technology stack decisions (JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development sessions to stay updated with emerging technologies
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with the Odoo framework
- Experience in web application or microservices development
- Strong knowledge of Python or other object-oriented languages
- Proficiency with Git and relational databases (SQL)
- Familiarity with JavaScript
- Team-oriented mindset and effective problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in Italian and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with major JavaScript frameworks
- Understanding of core business processes
- Exposure to other ERP or enterprise-grade platforms
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Working knowledge of Linux and command-line environments
