About the Role
Rapsodoo is seeking an Odoo Developer to design and implement projects on Odoo, a cloud-based digital platform built in Python and JavaScript for business process and workflow management. The role involves analyzing requirements, evaluating solutions, developing integrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality projects. The position is based in Rome or Milan, with flexibility for both on-site and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Odoo software to meet business requirements.
- Create integrations between Odoo and third-party applications using REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Analyze client needs and contribute to the design of technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality and actively participate in team code reviews.
- Collaborate on decisions regarding the technology stack, including PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Take part in training sessions and continuous learning initiatives to stay updated on emerging technologies.
Required Skills
- At least 1 year of experience working with the Odoo framework.
- Strong knowledge of Python or another object-oriented programming language.
- Experience in developing web applications and/or microservices.
- Good understanding of relational databases and SQL, ideally PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with major JavaScript frameworks.
- Understanding of business workflows and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of enterprise-oriented platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Linux and command-line tools.
