About the Role
The Odoo Developer will play a key role in enhancing SIRUM’s internal systems and the SIRUM Logistics Suite. Responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing modules, integrating external services, and supporting the platform’s growth. The position offers autonomy, a hands-on environment, and the opportunity to actively contribute to the future of logistics technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python and XML
- Implement frontend functionalities in JavaScript
- Design and optimize workflows, interfaces, and reports within Odoo
- Collaborate with the product team to analyze and conceptualize new features
- Maintain, test, and continuously improve existing applications
- Manage code using GitLab and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Containerize applications and handle deployments with Docker
- Document developments for a scalable system
- Support system integration and data migration efforts
Required Skills
- Degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience developing with Python and Odoo
- Knowledge of XML and JavaScript for frontend and view customization
- Experience with version control in Git, ideally GitLab
- Basic knowledge or experience with Docker
- Structured, independent working style and enthusiasm for agile development
- Fluent in German (C1) and good English skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, logistics, or ERP environments
- Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD best practices
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
