About the Role
Awesome Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Odoo ERP Developer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo (v13+), strong Python skills, and deep knowledge of Odoo’s architecture and PostgreSQL. The role involves customizing core modules, managing migrations, and deploying Odoo in production environments. Experience with Odoo.sh, API integrations, and basic frontend or DevOps tools is a plus.
Required Skills
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Odoo, version 13 or later
- Strong skills in Python programming and debugging
- Deep understanding of Odoo’s ORM, MVC architecture, and custom module development
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL for database management and interaction
- Proven ability to customize core Odoo modules such as Sales, Inventory, and Accounting
- Experience with upgrading and migrating Odoo versions
- Familiarity with deploying Odoo in production environments and applying best practices for performance and scalability
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Odoo.sh, Odoo Studio, and API integrations with third-party services
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies like JavaScript, XML, and QWeb templating
- Awareness of business workflows, particularly in accounting and operations
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
