About the Role
The Odoo ERP Project Manager will lead the implementation of Odoo ERP systems, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensure successful deployment. The role involves client consultation, system configuration, data migration, and user training. The Project Manager will also mentor junior consultants and ensure effective communication across teams. This hybrid role includes 25%-50% travel to client sites across the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage Odoo ERP implementation plans, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, quality standards, and resource requirements.
- Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment of clients’ business processes to determine the scope and requirements of the Odoo ERP system.
- Advise clients on selecting the right Odoo system based on their specific needs and budget.
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of Odoo ERP solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Manage data migration, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure successful implementation.
- Lead training programs to ensure end-users effectively utilize the Odoo ERP system.
- Foster communication among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure smooth project execution.
- Travel to client locations as necessary to support implementation projects.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants to ensure successful project completion and their professional growth.
- Travel requirements range from 25% to 50% to various third-party sites throughout the U.S. This is a hybrid position, with work conducted at the Austin headquarters and the flexibility to work from home.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR
- A Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, including six credit hours in each of the following areas:
- Cloud-based ERP systems
- IT system integration and application development
- Data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SAS)
- Manufacturing and supply chain operating procedures
- Accounting

- Odoo Functional Certification
- Willingness to travel (25-50%)
