About the Role

The Implementation Engineer – Odoo will be responsible for supporting and driving the rollout and continuous improvement of the Odoo ERP system across the organization. This role involves close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external Odoo consultants to ensure the best architectural and technical decisions are made. The engineer will also take ownership of multi-company accounting setups and various system customizations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment of Odoo modules across different business units

  • Collaborate with external Odoo consultants to evaluate and challenge system architecture and technical solutions

  • Analyze business requirements and determine the suitability of standard Odoo modules (e.g., Fleet, HR, Projects)

  • Independently perform technical modifications and enhancements within Odoo

  • Manage multi-company accounting configurations, integrating multiple legal entities

  • Report directly to the IT Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with the Odoo framework

  • Strong skills in Odoo module development using Python (backend), XML and/or REST API

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, API integrations, and debugging within the Odoo environment

  • Proficiency in JavaScript (frontend) and QWeb templating

  • Knowledge of Odoo Accounting and multi-company setups is highly desirable

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English; French is a plus
