About the Role

The Sales & Support / Odoo Consultant role is designed for professionals who can combine sales, pre-sales, and support responsibilities. This position involves engaging with prospects, supporting clients through implementations, and ensuring smooth adoption of Odoo solutions. The consultant will serve as the link between client expectations and internal delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or assist in sales cycles, including discovery calls, product demos, value articulation, and proposal preparation.
  • Analyze business requirements, map them to Odoo functionalities, and identify any gaps.
  • Provide functional and technical support to existing clients, addressing troubleshooting, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Assist in ERP implementations through configuration, data imports, module setup, training, and user adoption support.
  • Ensure client support SLAs are met, monitor ticket queues, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Odoo (any version) in sales, functional consulting, or support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Odoo modules such as Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to conduct demos and explain ERP functionalities in line with business processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve configuration, data, or integration issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in remote or freelance contracting (e.g., Upwork or similar platforms).
  • Proven success in closing ERP-related sales or delivering high-impact support cases.
  • Exposure to varied industries, providing a broad perspective on ERP implementation challenges.
