About the Role
VALUE AG is looking for a Senior Odoo Consultant/Developer to take strategic responsibility for the implementation, development, and scaling of the Odoo platform within the organization. The role offers flexibility to work from Leipzig, Berlin, or remotely anywhere in Germany. Key duties include leading technical development and maintenance, translating business requirements into technical solutions, coordinating tasks independently, and managing external resources when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation, development, and scaling of the Odoo platform
- Oversee technical development, focusing on system architecture, module development, migrations, and upgrades
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Collaborate with internal departments and support system usage
- Prioritize and coordinate tasks independently with stakeholders
- Manage and integrate external resources such as freelancers
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Odoo consulting, configuration, and software development
- Strong Python skills and deep understanding of the Odoo framework
- Experience with system architecture, maintenance, and module development
- Ability to connect technical and business perspectives strategically
- Excellent communication skills and a self-organized work style
- Experience with Odoo migrations and upgrades is a plus
- German language skills at C1 level or above
