About the Role
The Senior Odoo Support Officer plays a pivotal role in Ecostal Group’s ongoing digital transformation and ERP modernization initiative. This position supports the stability, efficiency, and quality of Odoo ERP processes as part of the organization’s continuous “template roll-out” strategy. The role is full-time and based on-site in Soumagne, with occasional travel abroad. The selected professional will ensure the seamless operation of the Odoo platform—primarily focusing on logistics modules—while collaborating closely with IT and transformation teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for the Odoo ERP system, focusing on logistics-related functionalities.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical and functional issues raised by users.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and end-user satisfaction through proactive problem management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain ERP stability and implement process improvements.
- Contribute to Odoo module testing, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in ongoing ERP template roll-outs and support intercompany integration.
- Document technical resolutions and update internal knowledge bases.
Required Skills
- Proven experience providing Odoo technical support, preferably as a former Odoo consultant.
- In-depth understanding of Odoo logistics modules and associated business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within a team environment.
- Proficiency in customer service and technical troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior involvement in ERP transformation or multi-entity rollout projects.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles or structured service management methodologies.
- Experience working within the renewable energy or industrial sector.
- Flexibility for occasional international travel as part of project or rollout support.
