About the Role
A multinational IT company with a solid presence in Portugal is seeking a Software Engineer to support its ongoing expansion in the local market. The role is based in Lisbon and offers a hybrid work setup.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of at least two of the following programming languages/platforms:
- Java
- Python
- .NET (C#)
- JavaScript
- Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL or PostgreSQL
- Proven experience working with Odoo (OpenERP)
- Understanding of development best practices (e.g., Git version control, clean code structure)
- Interest in continuous learning and technical growth
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work from the Lisbon office twice per week
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience (including internships or academic projects) in software development
- Background working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Understanding of REST APIs, service-oriented architecture, and unit testing
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
- Awareness of best practices in software security, performance, and scalability
