About the Role

As a (Senior) Software Engineer // Odoo Developer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing Odoo-based applications. After a comprehensive onboarding period, you’ll work on diverse and challenging development projects — from custom module creation to API integrations — helping clients achieve seamless digital transformation. You’ll also contribute ideas, share knowledge within the team, and shape ODION’s technological landscape with your expertise.

Responsibilities

Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python and the Odoo framework (OWL, ORM, QWeb, Workflows).
Translate client requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized business processes.
Create and manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications using Docker.
Administer Linux-based systems and cloud-based services, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Apply cybersecurity best practices, manage SSL certificates, and enhance system resilience.
Share knowledge and expertise within the team to support continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Skills

Proven experience in Odoo development, including module customization and integration.
Strong proficiency in Python (OOP, MVC) and familiarity with Odoo’s development tools and frameworks.
Competence in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline management and Docker containerization.
Understanding of network security, system optimization, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in German.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in ERP or business software implementation.
Leadership ambitions within a technical or development team.
Familiarity with cloud administration tools and DevOps best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a collaborative attitude.
