About the Role

The Odoo Consultant acts as the central point of contact for clients from the initial workshop through Go-Live. This role involves understanding client business processes, designing tailored solutions, and guiding them through all phases of Odoo implementation.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Consulting: Lead Odoo projects independently, from requirements gathering to planning and Go-Live. Conduct client workshops, analyze business processes, and develop practical solution concepts. Define project objectives, budgets, and timelines, ensuring adherence.
• Solution Design & Customization: Configure Odoo modules and create custom solutions for different industries. Assess whether requirements can be met using standard Odoo features or require technical extensions. Collaborate with developers, prepare specifications, and ensure quality implementation.
• Client Management & Quality Assurance: Serve as the main client contact and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project. Conduct testing, approvals, and Go-Live phases while supporting clients during hypercare. Maintain clear documentation of processes, decisions, and change requests.
• Mentoring & Knowledge Transfer: Support junior consultants through coaching, feedback, and structured tasks. Share best practices, develop internal templates, checklists, and guidelines, and contribute to evolving the company’s delivery methodology.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Odoo implementations (customization, configuration, data migration, training).
• Proficiency in multiple Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Projects).
• Experience working with clients from requirements analysis to project acceptance.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and document processes systematically.
• High degree of autonomy and structured approach to tasks and sub-projects.
• Strong communication, advisory, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring junior consultants.
• Proven ability to contribute to internal process improvements and delivery methodologies.
• Flexibility to work in hybrid settings (Steyr office & Remote) or fully remote.
