About the Role

The Internal Odoo Consultant Accountancy role focuses on implementing, configuring, and supporting Odoo across offices in Wallonia and Flanders. The position enhances process efficiency, establishes structural consistency, and guides users through the digital transition. It is designed for an Odoo professional who thrives in an analytical, hands-on environment and wants to make a direct impact on operational workflows and change management within a large, multi-site organization.

Responsibilities

  • Launch Odoo within internal offices and guide end-to-end rollout efforts
  • Configure modules and workflows in alignment with established internal processes
  • Provide functional user support and resolve issues efficiently
  • Define and standardize operational procedures within Odoo together with key teams
  • Map existing processes and translate them into Odoo functionalities
  • Advise on best practices and promote cross-organizational standardization
  • Build insightful reports and dashboards to support performance tracking and automation
  • Train internal users and prepare clear documentation and manuals
  • Act as the central point of contact for Odoo-related questions and feedback
  • Lead change-management activities during the transition
  • Oversee project timelines and coordinate deliverables
  • Communicate progress to leadership and collaborate with external Odoo partners when required

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with Odoo implementation, configuration, and functional support
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes and accounting software (strongly recommended)
  • Strong affinity with IT, process optimization, and workflow design
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or IT
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and a hands-on attitude
  • Full professional proficiency in both Dutch and French (rollout begins in the French-speaking region)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in accounting firms or financial service environments
  • Experience with multi-site Odoo deployments
  • Familiarity with change-management methodologies
  • Ability to develop structured training materials and user-adoption frameworks
