To accelerate our internal digital transformation, we are expanding our Odoo capabilities across all brands and are looking for an Odoo Python Engineer to join our Amsterdam office.
About the Role
As an Odoo Python Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality Odoo modules that help more than 100 colleagues work smarter and faster. You’ll work within a cross-functional engineering team, closely collaborating with product owners and business stakeholders to translate complex operational needs into elegant, scalable Odoo solutions. You’ll customize existing modules, develop new domain-specific apps, optimize operational workflows, and contribute to innovative features that support our rapidly growing business. Our Odoo environment integrates with a modern global tech stack including .NET 9, PostgreSQL, VueJS (Nuxt), React Native, AWS, Kubernetes, edge computing, serverless, and more.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules to support operational processes
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Integrate Odoo with other internal systems and APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured Python code
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Identify opportunities for innovation within our Odoo landscape
- Support the continuous rollout of Odoo across multiple brands
- Participate in designing new features and improving existing processes
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in a similar engineering role
- Strong experience with Python
- Experience with Odoo or another ERP system
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is a plus
- Proactive, ambitious, and motivated to build high-impact solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
