About the Role
The ERP Odoo Developer role is designed to support a critical restructuring and delivery phase within the ERP team. The position focuses on strengthening development capacity for high-priority initiatives in Odoo v17, with a strong emphasis on system stability, clean code, and quality-first engineering practices. Close collaboration with developers, testers, Product Owners, and the System Architect is a key part of this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance features in Odoo v17 using pair programming practices
- Implement fixes and new functionality aligned with BDD acceptance criteria
- Take full ownership of development tasks from implementation to release readiness
- Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Support integrations between Odoo and external systems such as Salesforce, MuleSoft, and financial platforms
- Develop and maintain front-end components within Odoo Website and Portal modules
- Share technical knowledge to ensure continuity and long-term maintainability
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on Odoo development experience
- Strong backend expertise in Python and Odoo ORM
- Solid understanding of clean code principles and system stability
- Experience with BDD, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work effectively in pair programming environments
- Proficiency in English and availability during German working hours
- Experience with front-end development using QWeb, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, MuleSoft, or financial system integrations
- Familiarity with containerized deployments and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Odoo portal checkout and license management workflows
- Experience working in complex, multi-system ERP environments
