About the Role
The Odoo Functional Lead (6-Month Contract) is a hands-on, in-house role responsible for leading the upgrade to Odoo v17 and redesigning core operational processes. This position works closely with production, supply chain, planning, finance, customer service, and quality teams to deliver a stable, integrated, and future-ready ERP environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration, configuration, and rollout of Odoo v17 across Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, Accounting, and Project modules
- Redesign and implement end-to-end business processes aligned with operational and growth objectives
- Identify system gaps, resolve inconsistencies, and remove manual workarounds
- Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to ensure ERP design reflects real operational needs
- Ensure accurate data flows, reliable planning, and strong integration between production, supply chain, and finance
- Train internal users and support adoption of new processes to ensure long-term system stability
Required Skills
- 4–7+ years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or in a similar ERP-focused role
- Strong expertise in Odoo Manufacturing (MRP), Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounting modules
- Proven background implementing Odoo in manufacturing, food, or CPG environments
- Solid ability to map, redesign, and operationalize complex business processes
- Excellent cross-functional communication and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python or experience collaborating closely with Odoo technical teams
- Experience leading ERP transformations or major system upgrades
- Strong change management and user adoption skills
