About the Role
The role is for an experienced Back-End Developer with a strong focus on Python and Odoo. The developer contributes to both short-term and long-term projects, ranging from custom development to integrations and complex system connections. Project durations vary between 3 – 6 months and up to 1 year. Work is carried out in a stable, in-house team alongside developers, business analysts, and architects.
Responsibilities:
- Translating functional requirements into efficient technical solutions within the Odoo framework, including custom development where needed
- Developing integrations and connections between different applications
- Defining and maintaining technical guidelines and architecture
- Working with application frameworks such as MVC and ORM, and applying concepts like application security, caching, and database optimization
- Collaborating closely with business analysts and project managers to align technical solutions with business needs
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of experience developing mission-critical applications
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented and modular programming
- Ability to act as a technical sounding board for colleagues
- Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English
