About the Role

The Business Analyst – Odoo works closely with clients to analyze processes, define system needs, and implement effective ERP solutions. This role balances in-depth client collaboration with structured project delivery, focusing on practical improvements rather than theoretical consulting. Projects vary from short, focused implementations to long-term, complex transformations. Work is primarily office-based, with regular client visits but no long-term on-site assignments. Collaboration with developers, technical consultants, and architects ensures that both standard configurations and custom solutions are delivered effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fit-gap analyses to determine suitable Odoo modules and features
  • Advise on the balance between standard functionality and custom development
  • Support data migration and ensure smooth system transitions
  • Deliver end-user training and guidance during implementation
  • Act as a key client contact, managing questions, priorities, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and customizations
  • Contribute to structured project approaches for both short-term and long-term initiatives

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with ERP or business software (e.g., Odoo, Business Central, SAP, financial systems, WMS)
  • Strong analytical thinking and process understanding
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Organized and structured approach to project work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT consulting, software implementation, or IT project management
  • Interest in specializing in specific sectors, modules, or project types
  • Motivation to pursue professional certifications (e.g., Odoo)
