About the Role
The Odoo ERP Consultant contributes to high-impact ERP projects, focusing on complex needs analysis, solution design, and functional alignment with Odoo capabilities. Working within a team of experienced consultants—several of whom are Odoo certified—this role ensures that client expectations are clarified, structured, and translated into coherent ERP solutions. The position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting projects from initial scoping through post-go-live follow-up. Regular national travel (20–40%) is required.
Responsibilities
Needs Analysis & Scoping
- Lead client workshops to gather and structure business requirements
- Formalize functional specifications and identify gaps with standard Odoo features
- Define target solutions considering business, technical, and budget constraints
Solution Design & Integration
- Contribute to functional architecture design
- Ensure overall functional consistency of ERP solutions
- Create and present functional prototypes
- Draft detailed specifications for development teams
- Perform advanced configuration of Odoo modules
- Participate in testing phases (functional testing, user acceptance, validation)
Go-Live & Post-Production Support
- Secure and manage production deployments
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Provide advanced functional support and manage complex incidents
Collaboration
- Act as the interface between business stakeholders and back-office developers
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the consulting team
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in functional ERP deployment
- At least 2 years of experience with Odoo (recent versions preferred, ideally v16–v18+)
- Experience leading ERP projects (50–100+ consulting days) from scoping to post-go-live support
- Strong knowledge of key Odoo modules and Odoo Studio
- Solid understanding of cross-functional ERP workflows
- Client-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Structured, rigorous, and methodical approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Odoo certification (functional or technical)
