About the Role
The Odoo Developer joins the development team to evolve and expand proprietary software solutions. The role focuses on customizing Odoo modules and integrating the ERP with external technologies related to remote sensing, satellite imagery, GIS platforms, and data systems. Following an initial 2–3 month on-site onboarding period, the position offers hybrid flexibility. This is a full-time permanent contract with flexible working hours.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Odoo modules
- Integrate Odoo with external services (APIs, GIS platforms, data systems)
- Work with SQL and relational databases (modeling, queries, basic optimization)
- Process and manage satellite imagery and remote sensing data
- Develop JavaScript-based interfaces and specific frontend functionalities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into functional software solutions
- Continuously improve code quality, maintainability, and scalability
- Document developments clearly to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing
Required Skills
- Degree in Computer Science (preferred), Telecommunications, or related technical field
- At least 1 year of experience developing with Odoo
- Strong knowledge of Python and JavaScript
- Experience integrating APIs and external services
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Interest in understanding client operations and real-world software impact
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong JavaScript expertise (for candidates without direct Odoo experience)
- Knowledge of remote sensing, satellite imagery, or GIS technologies
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Proactive mindset with initiative and continuous improvement attitude
Work Environment & Benefits
