After a previous implementation, the company initiated a new phase focused on improving system performance, streamlining internal processes, and reducing manual operational work.
A recent system assessment conducted by an independent consulting partner identified several areas where the ERP landscape could be improved. As a result, the organization is strengthening technical oversight to ensure the platform aligns with Odoo best practices and supports long term operational efficiency.
About the Role
The position is for a Freelance Odoo Solution Architect or Senior Odoo Developer who will support the ongoing ERP optimization initiative. The role involves evaluating the existing Odoo environment, validating configurations and custom developments, and guiding improvements across the platform.
The selected specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners while ensuring technical quality, testing structures, and system stability across the current Odoo 17 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a technical assessment of the existing Odoo environment
- Review current configurations and evaluate the quality of custom code
- Validate system setup, integrations, and technical architecture
- Establish testing procedures and verification activities
- Identify improvement opportunities based on Odoo best practices
- Support initiatives aimed at improving operational processes
- Act as a technical counterpart for internal teams and external partners
Requirements
- Proven experience with multiple Odoo implementations
- Senior level expertise as an Odoo Developer or Solution Architect
- Strong technical analysis and system validation skills
- Experience reviewing and improving existing ERP implementations
- Experience with testing processes and quality assurance
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Professional communication skills in English
Hands on experience with Odoo architecture, development, and system improvement initiatives is essential.
Engagement Details
- Location: Hybrid work model combining remote work and on site presence in the Netherlands
- Start date: Preferably within 3 to 4 weeks
- Project duration: Approximately 6 months
- Workload: Initial commitment of 2 days per week with potential increase to 3 to 4 days per week depending on project needs
