About the Role
The ERP and Automation Specialist supports the implementation and customization of Odoo ERP systems and automation workflows for business clients. The role involves working on system configuration, process documentation, and integrations that help automate daily operations.
This position includes both technical and operational responsibilities, such as configuring modules, supporting client projects, and helping optimize internal workflows. The role provides exposure to ERP implementation, automation tools, and modern infrastructure used in business process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Odoo modules including CRM, Accounting, Sales, Inventory, and Subscriptions
- Create document layouts, reports, and localization elements according to business requirements
- Build and maintain automation workflows using n8n and integrate external APIs
- Analyze, document, and improve operational processes and standard operating procedures
- Support project activities including workshops, data migration, and customer training sessions
- Assist with operational tasks related to ERP implementation and project coordination
Requirements
- Initial experience with Odoo or another ERP or CRM system
- Strong understanding of business processes and basic commercial principles
- Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, SQL, and automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, or Make
- Very good German language skills for communication with clients
- Good English skills for working with technical documentation and tools
- Ability to work independently with a structured and organized approach
Nice to Have
- Experience with Odoo Studio or report customization tools
- Knowledge of German accounting principles
- Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, Linux environments, or Git
