About the Role
The Data System Manager (Odoo) is responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining the company’s Odoo ERP system. The role ensures data integrity, operational efficiency, and alignment of ERP functionality with business objectives. The position involves configuring Odoo modules, developing workflows and reports, supporting users, and collaborating across teams to integrate Odoo with other business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Odoo ERP system, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional Odoo configurations and customizations
- Develop workflows, reports, and documentation to optimize business processes within Odoo
- Train and support users on Odoo functionalities and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of Odoo with other systems
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve functionality
- Troubleshoot system issues efficiently and implement corrective solutions
- Stay updated on Odoo developments and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing and configuring Odoo ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of Odoo modules and functionalities, including inventory, sales, and finance
- Experience in data management, integration, and process optimization within Odoo
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for user training and support
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python is a plus
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Full permission to live and work in Malta without a visa
