About the Role
The Odoo Consultant manages client projects end-to-end, from initial requirements to system implementation and user training. The role involves consulting clients on best practices, designing proofs-of-concept, guiding development tasks, and conducting key-user training sessions. Consultants work closely with the internal developer and consultant teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and take ownership of assigned Odoo projects
- Lead projects directly with clients, ensuring quality and timeliness
- Advise clients on Odoo functionality and suggest process improvements
- Conduct demos to engage and attract new clients
- Translate client requirements into proofs-of-concept and analyses
- Define development tasks for the internal team and oversee implementation
- Support the full Odoo implementation cycle, including key-user training
- Collaborate closely with in-house developers and consultants
Requirements
- University degree (e.g., business administration with focus on accounting or sales) or equivalent professional experience in finance or ERP
- Experience in project management
- Strong understanding of business processes and pragmatic, solution-oriented thinking
- High IT affinity and interest in continuous learning
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients
- Fluent in German and English
