About the Role
QUBIQ is looking for a Technical Consultant to develop, customise, and maintain Odoo modules, integrations, and automation solutions. The role focuses on transforming business requirements into robust and scalable technical implementations within the Odoo ecosystem.
The position involves working in an agile environment where collaboration, code quality, and technical problem-solving are key priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customise Odoo modules using Python based on functional requirements
- Ensure scalable and efficient technical solutions aligned with Odoo framework standards
- Implement integrations with external APIs (REST/XML-RPC)
- Design and implement automation and process optimisation solutions
- Perform code reviews, testing, and version control using Git
- Manage development and production environments, including Docker usage
- Collaborate with functional teams to assess technical feasibility of requirements
- Document code and maintain clear project records for continuity
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar technical field (or equivalent vocational training such as DAM/DAW)
- Strong experience in Python backend development, preferably within Odoo
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, database modelling, and query optimisation
- Experience with Odoo frontend technologies including XML and JavaScript (OWL/JS)
- Ability to integrate and consume REST APIs
- Familiarity with Git and basic Docker usage
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
- English level B2 or higher, with ability to understand technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Odoo internal architecture and ORM
- Experience with CI/CD or DevOps practices
- Exposure to international projects
