About the Role

The Cloud Support Administrator (Odoo) is responsible for managing the Odoo-based self-service portal and billing system while also providing direct technical support to cloud customers. The role combines Odoo system administration with hands-on cloud troubleshooting and customer support, acting as the first point of resolution for incoming technical requests.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Odoo-based self-service portal and billing system, including subscriptions, invoicing, account configuration, and performance monitoring
  • Manage Odoo workflows such as customer onboarding, subscription lifecycle, billing processes, and access provisioning
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for repetitive operational tasks
  • Coordinate system updates and collaborate with development teams on module improvements and customizations
  • Provide first-line support for customer tickets related to cloud services, billing, and portal access
  • Provision and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure such as virtual machines, storage, and clusters
  • Assist customers with configuration, connectivity, and performance-related issues
  • Document recurring issues and contribute to structured knowledge base content
  • Collect customer feedback and usage insights to support product and system improvements
  • Collaborate with backend engineering teams during escalations by providing diagnostics and reproduction steps

Requirements

  • Experience administering Odoo ERP, including billing, subscriptions, CRM, and customer portal modules
  • Ability to configure workflows, customize views, and manage user access within Odoo
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including virtual machines, storage, and clustering on platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar
  • Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer support abilities
  • Experience creating technical documentation and knowledge base content
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and CRM tools
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional technical teams
  • Willingness to stay updated with Odoo and cloud technology developments

Preferred Skills

  • Odoo certification or equivalent hands-on experience in administration and customization
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, or Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience writing customer-facing technical documentation
  • Familiarity with Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and command-line tools
  • Experience with Python or XML customization within Odoo
  • Background in cloud hosting or managed services environments
  • Understanding of API integrations, webhooks, or payment gateway configurations
