About the Role
An Odoo Developer is sought to join the team and contribute to both analysis and development activities within the ERP environment. The role focuses on translating functional requirements into technical solutions, building features in Python, and supporting the continuous improvement of the Odoo system.
The position requires a combination of development skills and functional understanding, with a strong focus on practical and efficient technical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ERP analysts and support teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and implement solutions in Python within the Odoo environment
- Build and extend Odoo modules based on business needs
- Balance standard Odoo functionality with custom development and make informed technical decisions
- Design and implement integrations with external tools and APIs
- Maintain and improve the existing Odoo system and provide technical support when needed
- Contribute to broader development tasks outside Odoo, including integrations, automation, and internal tooling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience with Odoo or a similar ERP system
- Strong experience in Odoo development, including Python, modules, and framework knowledge
- Understanding of standard ERP workflows and business processes
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Hands-on and pragmatic working style with a focus on clarity and maintainability
- Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders and ability to challenge requirements when needed
Nice to Have
- Experience with system integrations, including REST APIs or external systems
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, performance optimization, or structured development practices such as Git
- Interest in broader Odoo extensions and platform development
