About the Company

The Group Technology Services division of Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, within the Corporate Solutions business unit, delivers a wide range of IT services across the strategic business areas of the Migros Group. Within the Lean Solutions Team, responsibility is taken for the internal ERP system Odoo, including its operation and continuous development.

About the Role

An Application Manager role is focused on ensuring the stable operation and ongoing evolution of the internal Odoo ERP system. The position includes operational responsibility, coordination of stakeholders, and support for system improvements across the application landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure stable operation of the application, including incident analysis and resolution (RCA, problem management) and proactive stakeholder communication in an end-to-end responsibility
  • Coordinate internal and external partners and support continuous application development
  • Review architectural guidelines, ensure their implementation, and maintain test environments and user management
  • Create and update operational, user, and system documentation
  • Plan, prepare, and manage the application budget including cost control and conduct internal operations reviews
  • Support user acceptance testing and integration testing activities

Requirements

  • Completed higher education degree (University, ETH, FH, HF)
  • Background in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in application operations or application management, including experience in budget responsibility or cost control in an IT environment
  • Agile mindset with knowledge of SAFe and Scrum
  • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Programming knowledge in C# and Python
  • Experience in cloud management
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally Odoo
  • German language level C1
  • English level A2
  • French is considered an advantage
