About the Role
A Senior Odoo Developer is sought to join the Enterprise Applications team based in Limassol, Cyprus. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s Odoo-based ERP platform while supporting critical business operations. The successful candidate will be involved in the full development lifecycle, including solution design, customization, system integration, deployment, data migration, and technical support. The position also involves integrating Odoo with internal platforms such as HRM, FP&A, and data warehouse systems. Relocation support is available for candidates and their families.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable solutions for the Odoo ERP platform.
- Review system architecture and contribute to long-term platform development plans.
- Configure and customize the ERP system to support business processes across multiple departments.
- Manage user access, workflows, scheduled actions, and development, staging, and production environments.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance custom Odoo modules and extensions, including external-facing components such as the vendor portal.
- Integrate Odoo with enterprise systems, including HRM, FP&A, and data warehouse platforms.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and support reliable data synchronization.
- Provide technical support by troubleshooting ERP issues related to functionality, customizations, and integrations.
- Contribute to system performance, code quality, database design, and platform scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with the Odoo platform, including custom module development, system configuration, and integrations.
- Experience with ERP implementation and support.
- Strong knowledge of Python and Odoo ORM, business logic, and server-side architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, performance optimization, and complex queries.
- In-depth understanding of the Odoo framework, including module inheritance, views, access rights, workflows, and scheduled actions.
- Practical experience with odoo.sh, including environment management, deployments, log analysis, automated testing, and staging.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with Git-based development workflows using platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience with data migration, system upgrades, and import/export scripting.
- Ability to develop and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Experience with cross-system integrations involving finance, HR, procurement, or similar business domains is considered an advantage.
- Odoo certifications are considered an advantage.
- Certifications related to PostgreSQL, Python, ERP implementation, or business process modeling are considered an advantage.
