About the Role

The ERP Odoo Project Manager is responsible for leading ERP-related initiatives from needs analysis to operational deployment. The role ensures coordination between business teams, technical teams, and external providers while maintaining quality standards, deadlines, and process optimization. This position combines both functional project ownership (AMOA) and technical implementation oversight (MOE). Acting as the key interface between IT and business departments, the role supports users, manages change, and ensures the ERP system evolves in line with organizational needs. The position reports to the Group Application Director and is offered as a permanent (CDI) full-time contract.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze internal user needs
  • Write functional specifications and project documentation
  • Lead ERP Odoo deployment and enhancement projects
  • Oversee custom developments and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Organize testing phases, user acceptance, and training sessions
  • Provide level 2 support and maintain process documentation
  • Ensure alignment of business processes with HR, Finance, and Procurement teams

Technical support and user assistance

  • Support users and improve ERP adoption
  • Facilitate internal tool communities and key user networks
  • Identify recurring issues and define corrective procedures
  • Resolve incidents and follow corrective and evolutionary maintenance

Monitoring and optimization

  • Track new Odoo versions and standards
  • Improve system performance and process efficiency
  • Contribute to the evolution of system functionalities

Required Skills

  • Engineering degree or similar technical education preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in a comparable ERP project role
  • Strong IT project management knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in French and English
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
  • Basic knowledge of Python

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Odoo ERP
  • Background in both functional and technical project environments
  • Experience in change management and user training
