About the Role
The ERP Technical Specialist will support local team streams for a global premium consumer goods company, covering areas such as Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance & Controlling (FI/CO), and other business functions. The role focuses on process evaluation, identifying improvements, and enabling digital transformation within ERP operations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse differences between global ERP templates and local/regional requirements, providing recommendations for adjustments
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other project phases to ensure successful ERP implementation and operation
- Ensure ERP activities comply with local and regional legal, regulatory, and policy standards
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP operations, acting as a primary contact for issue resolution and user assistance
Requirements:
- Academic background in Supply Chain & Logistics, IT, or a related field
- Extensive experience with ERP systems, including MM, SD, FI/CO, and other relevant business functions
- Experience with SAP environments (e.g., SAP EWM, S/4HANA) is highly desirable
- Knowledge of compliance with local and regional regulations in ERP operations
- Experience in user support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
- Strong understanding of ERP configuration and customization
- Ability to analyse business processes and propose technical solutions
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
