About the Role
NEXAT is seeking an IT Project Manager Odoo to independently lead and coordinate projects related to the company’s Odoo ERP system.
The role combines project management, requirements analysis, stakeholder support, Odoo configuration, external service provider coordination, and project controlling. The successful candidate will help ensure that Odoo solutions remain aligned with business needs and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead and coordinate Odoo ERP subprojects.
- Configure Odoo using codeless customization tools.
- Adapt Odoo applications to the practical requirements of internal departments.
- Gather, structure, prioritize, and manage business requirements.
- Coordinate requirements with all relevant stakeholders.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage the project portfolio in line with strategic goals.
- Support and advise internal stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate external service providers.
- Set clear expectations and manage external partners diplomatically.
- Monitor project costs, timelines, quality, and overall target achievement.
- Ensure that project objectives are met through consistent project controlling.
Requirements
- Several years of practical experience with Odoo as a consultant, project manager, or advisor.
- At least five years of hands-on experience working on IT projects.
- Experience taking responsibility for project management activities.
- Strong customer and service orientation.
- Clear understanding of the needs of internal business departments.
- Solution-oriented, structured, and detail-focused working style.
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree.
- A degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting or sales is relevant.
- Comparable professional experience in finance or ERP is also accepted.
- Strong and confident communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with different audiences.
