About the Role
The Odoo Business Analyst – Accounting Expert acts as the bridge between accounting requirements and software implementation. This role focuses on translating financial and operational needs into functional Odoo solutions, ensuring accurate configuration, smooth deployments, and measurable efficiency gains for clients. The position also offers opportunities to contribute ideas and initiatives that directly influence the company’s development.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze client accounting needs (CEOs, CFOs, finance directors, accounting firms) and convert them into functional Odoo processes
- Manage deployment and configuration of accounting solutions within Odoo
- Ensure accurate accounting data migration and system setup
- Deliver client training on daily Odoo usage
- Provide practical solutions to improve client efficiency
- Recommend and implement process optimizations based on accounting and technical expertise
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, either in a firm or in-house
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
- Ability to translate business needs into functional system configurations
- Proactive, autonomous, and service-oriented mindset
- Strong client communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working under deadlines and with technical challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Odoo Accounting
- Experience as a business analyst
- Interest in IT and business software solutions
- Fluency in French, Dutch, and English (additional languages are an advantage)
