The company is seeking an Odoo Developer to join its development team in Canada.
The developer will design, customize, and implement Odoo applications to support business processes. The role includes module development, integrations, database management, workflow automation, user support, upgrades, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Customize and develop Odoo applications, modules, and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into suitable Odoo solutions.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and applications.
- Support reliable data exchange between Odoo and external platforms.
- Manage and optimize Odoo databases.
- Maintain data integrity, security, and system performance.
- Train end users on Odoo applications and modules.
- Implement workflow automation to improve business efficiency.
- Provide technical support for Odoo applications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support stable system operation.
- Manage and execute Odoo version upgrades.
- Support adoption of new Odoo functionality and improvements.
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
- Document Odoo configurations and customizations.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional Odoo development experience.
- Experience delivering Odoo implementations.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Odoo framework.
- Understanding of Odoo development best practices.
- Experience with Odoo customization.
- Experience developing custom Odoo modules.
- Experience integrating Odoo with external systems.
- Familiarity with HTML.
- Familiarity with CSS.
- Familiarity with JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
