About the Role
The Odoo Developer position is part of the “Projects & Developments” team within the IT Department. The role covers the full development lifecycle—from requirements analysis to deployment—contributing directly to digital solutions that support operational excellence across QHSE services. The position is a full-time, permanent contract and offers a technically enriching environment with strong opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and draft functional and technical specifications
- Develop requested features within Odoo in alignment with specifications
- Implement test plans and validate delivered functionalities
- Prepare clear documentation for developed applications
- Monitor production rollouts and support releases
- Diagnose, manage, and resolve technical issues and anomalies
- Collaborate closely with business teams and contribute ideas for technical improvements
Required Skills
- Higher education degree in computer engineering (BAC +3 or BAC +5)
- At least 4 years of professional experience as an Odoo developer
- Strong command of Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, PHP, and HTML5
- Experience with REST web services, XML SOAP, and data-exchange formats (XML, JSON)
- Familiarity with ERP functional areas (Sales, Marketing, Invoicing, Planning, etc.)
- Competence in development tools such as Visual Studio, GitHub, and Git
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with business teams
- Fluency in French and English (German is an asset)
- Rigor, teamwork, and innovative mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of .NET environments for interfaces and internal developments
- Experience with legacy technologies (Access/VBA) for maintaining older applications
- Ability to lead meetings and workshops with internal stakeholders
- Interest in proposing new ideas and contributing to continuous improvement
