About the Role
The Odoo Developer and Technical Systems Lead will take ownership of the company’s core technology stack, with a primary focus on the Odoo ERP system. The role is hands-on and covers system architecture, integrations, data management, and technical enablement across retail operations, finance, supply chain, and customer-facing tools.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Odoo ERP system end to end, including configuration, optimisation, and integration across supply chain, finance, inventory, and retail operations
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations with core systems such as POS, payments, loyalty platforms, third-party SaaS tools, and internal dashboards
- Manage and integrate hardware systems including POS terminals, kiosks, self-checkout solutions, payment devices, and IoT sensors
- Build and maintain databases while ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility
- Extract, clean, and transform data for reporting, analysis, and forecasting
- Automate workflows and data pipelines to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
- Support AI-related use cases such as demand forecasting, reporting automation, and customer insights
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the technical stack supports scalability and business growth
Requirements:
- Experience in technical systems or integration roles, with retail, FMCG, or QSR experience considered a plus
- Strong ERP experience, preferably with Odoo, including implementation, customization, and integration
- Solid background in systems integration, including APIs, middleware, and data pipelines
- Hands-on experience integrating hardware and software systems such as POS, kiosks, terminals, and IoT devices
- Experience working with databases, including SQL, schema design, optimization, and ETL processes
- Ability to extract and manipulate data for reporting, forecasting, and operational insights
- Comfortable working with engineers, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders
